Biography

Matthias Jung, born in Bavaria, Germany, is an experienced landscape professional, whose background includes technical and creative design, military and nonprofit service, leadership, and project management, which he has utilized in an array of sustainability initiatives and organizations, such as co-founding the Houston Access to Urban Sustainability Project and implementing its initiatives as a board member. His focus on the principles of creating a resilient environment, intentional cooperative communities and organic food forests inspired him to obtain his Permaculture Design Consulting certificate in 2010.
